Most cleaning complaints trace back to the first fifteen minutes — a vague handover. After thousands of site starts, our leads brief every crew with the same five sentences. Borrow them verbatim.
The five sentences
One: the priority rooms, named in order. Two: anything broken, stained or out of place that we should know is pre-existing. Three: access quirks — alarms, locked zones, parking. Four: the consumable par levels to maintain. Five: who to call, and how, if anything changes mid-visit.
- Name priorities — 'perfect' everywhere means perfect nowhere.
- Flag pre-existing damage so it is never misread as our work.
- Confirm the escalation contact before the crew starts, not after.
What never to skip
The walkthrough itself. Photos and floor plans help, but ten minutes on site surfaces the things nobody writes down: the door that sticks, the bin store with no light, the boardroom that must be done by 7am. Skip it and the first month becomes the walkthrough — paid for in complaints. Book a free walkthrough and we will bring the five questions with us.
